Blackberry Gets Jiggy With Google

RIM BlackberryGoogle here, Google there, let’s face it, Google’s pretty much everywhere. And now, we can expect to see it on our Blackberrys as well. Looks like Blackberry devices will soon be equipped with local search and maps from Google as well as Google Talk, according to Research in Motion. Right now, Blackberry users can get a software download for Google Local for mobile, but don’t expect to be able to send and receive instant messages with Google Talk until the Spring. And all this for free. Dig it, people. Of course, it also depends on whether Blackberry isn’t shut down with its patent case!
